stabilization of Video

Post by stormchaser »

I don't know what this may be called but if you shoot video, and the video is jumpy can Coral video 6 fix the jumpiness?

The Ultimate version comes with a stabilizer plug-in called Mercalli, which does a good job of removing jerkiness. But depending on how bad the jerkiness is, it may be impossible to remove all of it...

As Ken replied, the Ultimate version comes with the Mercalli stabilizer plugin. You could give freeware a try too.

In the drop down box click on ProDAD you will then find the Mercalli stabilizer

Hi

The ultimate version has two program files, one for Video Studio and a Bonus file (VSX6_Ultimate_Bonus.exe 1.4Gb) this contains the Prodad / newblue plugin programs including Mercalli
Have you installed the Ultimate_Bonus.exe :?:
Once installed the plug-ins are part of the FX library section

When you say jumpy is that because of the way the video was recorded or is it the way Video Studio plays the clip on the timelines.
If you play the video on one of your media players (VCL Player is good) is playback good. :?:

If you mean the extra stuff you can download one says Bonus Content with a sunflower on it that looks black and white or something. None say Ultimate on them. It is a blue button with download now on it. No I did not download it because it won't let me. I click on it and the hour glass pops up for a few seconds then disappears and absolutely nothing happens. Everything else I can down load. Any other way to download it? Have a clue as to what is going on? Or is the ultimate download located elsewhere?

Jumpy as in not holding the camera steady.

Trevor is not talking about the Bonus content in the Do More guide - but about your original programme installation.

If you downloaded the programme then you should have downloaded and installed the two files which Trevor has listed

If you purchased discs then you have not installed all of the content on the discs.

So maybe I am not at the right drop down? Maybe another I am not aware of?

When i downloaded there was only one file.

If you only downloaded one file then it sounds as though you do not have the Ultimate version.

if you have and it is installed correctly you should be able to use the drop down in the top left of the FX library folder to access the pro-dad options - see below :-

It's not there when I got the Corel ultimate it was a offer of discount through the version 4 that I have. I said sure why not and clicked the link to the site paid for the Corel ultimate 6 and went on my merry way. If there was two files I did not see the second file.

When you upgraded from X4 to X6 you would have received a confirmation email from Corel, in this email would have been two links, one to download the main program and one to download the bonus content, if you no longer have the confirmation email, sign in to Corel, scroll down to "Your Order Status History" click on the order No. (if you have more than one click on "See All Orders". Click on the Order No for X6, scroll down and you will find the download for the bonus pack 1.4GB.
