I just downloaded the new ASP2 trial on my Mac. Most of it looks and acts familiar but I was looking through the user manual and found the following:
To open Corel AfterShot HDR
1. In Aftershot Pro, select the thumbnails you want to use for HDR.
2. Right-click a selected thumbnail and choose Edit with AfterShot HDR from the context menu.
But when I do that I do not see any HDR link in the context menu. The only options that I see are
Edit in external editor (I chose Photoshop. There was no HDR editor that I could find for ASP2)
Settings
Version
Stacking
XMP
Send to Batch
Quick Import and
Import
As I mentioned this is the Mac version. Sales tells me it is the same as the Windows version but I am not sure that is not just Sales talking. Has anyone tried this on their Windows version? If so, did you see a link for HDR? Or am I missing something here?
Thanks.

Re: AfterShotPro 2 HDR functionality
What I understand is.... the HDR is only in the Windows version.

Re: AfterShotPro 2 HDR functionality
Mike, in the Windows versions one of the Right-Click Options is Edit with Aftershot HDR. From there choices are Exposure Merge, Single Raw Photo, and Batch Merge.MikeFromMesa wrote:I just downloaded the new ASP2 trial on my Mac. Re: AfterShotPro 2 HDR functionality
Hmmm... Figures ...
I guess what the sales people told me about both versions being the same is just that - sales talk. I thought the Mac version was nice and thought about upgrading but now I don't know.
Thanks for checking and posting. I appreciate the help.

You know Greg has posted here quite a while before your post about the HDR function coming later for Mac and Linux...MikeFromMesa wrote:I guess what the sales people told me about both versions being the same is just that - sales talk. I am sure that is true. I have not been browsing any photo forums for a long time and, assuming that ASP 2 was brand new and that there would not have been any previous information given how new it was, I just posed the question. My mistake.
