Years and years ago, I had submitted a bug report for Bibble Pro & ASP 1 and it still exists in ASP2! Hooray!
If, after using the Crop Tool, you then try to use the Black Point Tool to set a black level, the Crop Tool turns on again.
It looks like the Black Point Tool, but it's really the Crop Tool.
After all these years, I'm so glad to see my little baby has lasted through several development teams and upgrades.

I think you have the wrong bug description.
The bug is, you can not go from crop mode to a picker (black, white, gray), you have to use another mode first.
After all a minor nuisance, workaround is easy. Bigger issues are still present.
