You caught my attention with your comment about evaluating other video editing programs. Nine others? Yikes!

I know of Adobe Premiere Elements, Sony Screenblast (or whatever it's called now), Pinnacle 9, Windows MovieMaker.

Can you name some of the others? I'd like to know what the competition is. And I'm happy with VS8.
