60 fps to 50 fps
Pleas can someone remind me. I have loaded the PAL version of X7 but am looking at an Action Cam that records in 60fps. Can I use my version of X7 to edit and finally download to DVD?
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

Re: 60 fps to 50 fps
Hi Terfyn
First the installed program whether Pal or Ntsc affects the default templates.
You have installed Pal but can still edit and create Ntsc by making your own templates.
The 60 fps video can be rendered to 25 fps Mpeg2 for burning to a pal disc, you should do a test to see if removing the frames causes to much quality loss.
If you were to render the 60 fps to 30 (29.97) then the Ntsc quality may be a little improved compared to the Pal version, those extra 5 frames may cause a little stutter.
You are best to render to both formats of Mpeg2, only you can see the final video and quality.
My last holiday I chose to record to 50fps to test the conversion to 25fps for Bluray but would still retain HD 1920 x 1080. I expect good results as I am not converting from 60 to 25 fps.
