x7 Ultimate: "Use first clip as intro video" not working

[I'm a VSPro user since X4 and have created MANY great videos with menus - so while I'm no expert, I'm not a rookie either]

I have a 30gb file, 6 chapters, SHARE = SD-CARD
The option "Use first clip as introductory video" is grayed-out.

Any ideas what's wrong on the SHARE = SD option?

Although I don't know for sure, I suspect that with this and your other SD-related menu question, that you are wanting the SD card to be and act exactly the same as a DVD. I don't think it was meant to be this way, and in fact am a bit surprised that there are even any menus that would work with an SD card. I suspect that only the simplest menus might work, and this would be because the reader that can play video from an SD card is not at all the same as a DVD player. Similarly, it might not be capable of distinguishing between an introductory video and the other video on the card...

@Ken Berry
Thanks for that - I'm scratching the SD-CARD idea and just going with eight chapters, DVD quality [due to LOW resolution of source video files from 2008-2013] and storing for posterity on a digital hard drive.

Respectfully, Jim
