Computer overloading

Post by Haesselmaas »

I need help.

I have downloaded the VideoStudio x7 free trial and I am actually very pleased with it, except for the fact that I can only work for 20 minutes at a time and then my computer inexplicably shuts off.

I think it's an overload, but if so, what can I do to fix it?

Please someone help me! I've searched for a long time to find a program that can truly help me and this is it. It's simple, easy to use and not too complicated.
If only it wouldn't overload my computer.

If you had filled in the information about your computer which we ask for when you register we might have been able to skip a step - but as you didn't :-

Please provide the full specification of your computer.

While others have reported crashes of the program itself, this is the first time I can recall someone saying the computer actually shut down. So it would appear to point to the computer rather than the program. Can you describe what happens -- do you get the old 'blue screen of death'? Are there any messages or does the computer quite literally turn itself off? Are you doing anything specific in X7 when it happens or is it simply and always after a certain time?
