For years I worked with (Jasc) PSP 7. Part of PSP 7 is the management module Media Center Plus. I have made about 20.000 images with Media Center Plus. Most of them have a caption (description). How I can import these captions into PSP X5 ?

Re: Importing text
It would depend on what file extension you used to save them. If they are PSP files they may open.

No, I'have never used *.psp, but mostly *.jpg for images and for documents *.doc and *.pdf.

Re: Importing text
Looking back at some Google reviews it would seem that Media Centre Plus was not part of PSP7 but an extra like Animation shop.
It would have saved its titles for images in its own data base.
In PSPX5 we have the Manage mode which is part of the PSP install and integrated into it. Manage also saves the names of images to its own database.
You are asking to have the images and names database from a 10 year old program by another manufacturer (Jasc 2001-2002 for PSP7) imported into the database for another program PSPX5 by another manufacturer. The databases may be quite different in their format so I doubt it would be possible without a specific conversion program. I also doubt that Corel would be interested in producing a conversion program for a 10 year old program which did not appear to be followed through (was not available with PSP8 CD version).
Good reason for doing regular updates and perhaps having an independent database of your images which will be updated.

Your explanation is perfectly clear to me. I will need to convert the captions. Manually into the management module PSP X5
Many thanks for your response.
