Can't Drag Video Clip In VideoStudio Ultimate x7

Post by TonySan1 »

Hi, I hope everyone is having an outstanding day. I just upgraded to VideoStudio Ultimate x7. When I moved my video clip to the video #1 video track and try to drag the track it will not move along the track. Can anyone tell me the correct procedure for sliding a video clip along the video track? I noticed that I can move clips along the other tracks beneath the video track . It's only the video track that won't allow me to drag the video clip. Can anyone help? :?

Thank you

Hi Tony

Welcome to the forums, and yes I have had a good day so far.

When you say you upgraded to X7 were you using an earlier version of Video Studio?

The top video track always shuffles clips to the left, you cannot have gaps, however you could add a colour clip between the clips, that would separate them.
As you noticed the Overlay tracks do allow you to position them individually.
