New Adjustment Layer Button? Want to reposition it?

Post by Grazie »

OK . . . I have the "New Adjustment Layer Button" at the base of the Layers Window. It is there - no problem . . . But I want to have it at the TOP of the Layers Window where I have other Layer Commands, and I wish to have the "New Adjustment Layer Button" there too.

Please advise,

Open up the Customize dialog

View -> Customize

Then on the layers palette, click on the "New Adjustment Layer" button and drag it to the top of the Layers palette. Keep in mind the Layers Palette seems to have two sides. If you over-fill one side it'll overlap with the other unless the layers palette is wide enough. So, make sure you have room.

Ah! I was attempting to do what I had previously done, and that was to ADD a button directly from the Customize >>Command, I had forgotten to just DRAG the New Adjustment Layer Button North to the top of the Layers Palette.

Thank you!
