You say you cannot install X6 yet you state when you try to open a RAW file it crashes. Which is it, you can't install or it does install and crashes on an image?

They said cannot "Start" not cannot "install." In other words PSP crashes as soon as it tries to load.

However, the problem is too vague. Not starting is a symptom and several people can experience it for very different reasons.

For example, some people tried opening a file that had an EXIF description longer than 256 characters that caused X6 to crash. Others had permissions problems. Still others had a faulty install. Others the protexis service wasn't running. So there is no one solution to solving a PSP can't start problem.

You say it crashes, what is the error it gives? Is there another instance of PSP running in the background, use the Task Manager to find out. If so, close all instances of PSP then start it back up.

Need details in order to help.
