PSP 9 Preset shapes don't work anymore

Post by BiscuitEren »

Hello everyone,

I have some troubles having the preset shapes work. I recently changed my computer, but since I copied my previous system disk, all the parametres and everything are the same. Preset shapes worked fine with my previous computer, but now I can't select the option, and pressing P doesn't work either. Here is what I have:

I can't select the "Shapes" ("Formes") option as you can see.

It's probably something stupid, but I didn't find any answers anywhere else. Does someone know how to make it work again?

Thanks a lot for you help!

You say you recently changed your computer but copied the system disk. This is probably why they're not working.

All presets are in PSP custom folders, except those Corel have in the system files.

You need to check your custom folders to see if the file you are wanting to work is actually in there.

Thank you for the answer.

I basically copied all the disks from the old computer. I checked in the PSP Preset Shapes folder, and the basic shapes are still there, so I don't get why PSP don't recognize them. I also checked in Preferences > Files location that the locations are correct. Did I miss something?

Okay, have you checked in File, Preferences, File Locations? Is the custom preset shape folder listed in 'Preset Shapes file folder window?
