I'm sure I'm doing something stupid but can't see it.
In MANAGE I seem to be locked into PREVIEW mode. The 'Thumbnail' button is greyed out.
How can I get into Thumbnail view?

This is strange, I've never had that happen. Perhaps this is another instance for resetting the program. Save any settings such as the workspace. Exit PSP then hold the shift key while you open it again. It will ask if you want to reset to factory settings. I've sometimes had to do this twice to get that message. Good luck.
