PSP X6 Service Pack 2 Error

Hello all -
I've been trying to install SP2 on PSP X6 and get the attached error each time. I also downloaded the SP separately and get the same error. Has anyone come across this?

When did you first install PSPX6?

If you did not install updates, Corel send them down the line to update when you go to close PSPX6 automatically. This makes downloading and installing updates not necessary.

Use the Clean Tool to uninstall X6 and start again.

We have found an explanation what happens in cases like yours. It seems that you have got the parser version of MSXML installed.

I have spent 2 days with support on this issue. No where. My XP is significantly cleaned up but what good is that if I am still unable to install SP2?

At 95% I get the Error 1935...

Since I don't see the "envelop" mentioned, what can I do to get past this error?

Any help would be appreciated. I've cleaned .NET until it squeaks. I've deleted MSXML. I've tried Safe Mode.

I know this is late, But I've had this same issue with both SP1 and SP2. Anything you can do to help out?

I had encountered this error 1935 in installing PSP X7 SP3. This was how I solved it:

1. I ran System File Checker. Run Command Prompt as Administrator, then type "sfc /scannow" without the quotes. It may take sometime to finish.

2. I repaired my VC++ Redistributable installation (in my case, 2013).

3. Repair/re-install MSXML, in my case, version 4 SP2.

4. Install PSP.

That's it!
