Just wondering if it is possible to apply an FX/filter to a batch of clips when Batch Converting... There seems to be no option to apply anything, just straight input>output conversion (choosing a Template that you can Customize). I tried to load a clip and apply a filter/FX and then tried to make a list for Batch conversion, but they seemed to just come out 'straight' through (dry/unfiltered/etc), so 'loading' one on the Timeline didn't really do anything.
Is there a way to apply an effect to a batch of clips, each one being processed with the filter as it passes through the Batch Conversion process?

I don't know if this will help what you are trying to achieve but you could try this. Import clip and apply desired filter to clip and save project and repeat naming each project differently. Now use Batch Convert option and Add each project file to your list and Convert. Once complete you should have all new files with the filters applied.
Hope this helps.

Re: Batch Convert and apply FX?
Those steps in fact perform exactly what I was attempting to do (for example, have a bunch of short clips and apply a Comic FX (filter) to each one, as it Batch Converts them, to end up with a bunch of clips that are now 'comic-y', in the end) - kudos!rwernyei wrote:I don't know if this will help what you are trying to achieve but you could try this. I actually ran into the same problem as discussed here:
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 76&start=0
But it was alleviated by double-checking each time that the aspect ratio matches in both:
(1) the Project properties when saving the project
and
(2) the Batch Convert format options ("Video Save options")
So with a few extra steps (aside from applying a filter to a handful of clips and saving each one separately), loading all of the VSP scripts into Batch Convert worked flawlessly. Thank you once again
