Good Evening!
I have been unable to find a technique for filling a shape or selection with a specific text, using Paint Shop Pro. I know this is possible in Photoshop and while I am sure there are others, in my experience it is the only feature that I cannot duplicate in Paint Shop Pro.
I have run into several instances where it would have been just the perfect finishing touch for a project, and I do wonder whether it will be available on future versions. It is certainly on my wish list. If it were available, I know people would use it.

Re: Fill Shape With Text?
I'm actually not familiar with the technique for filling a shape with text in photoshop. I'll have to look that up.
From what you're describing it sounds like a pattern will do. You can create a pattern with a selection, then fill a shape with that pattern.
So create one image with the text you want to fill the shape with. Convert it to a raster, and then select it.
In the image you have the shape or the selection in, open the materials properties dialog and go to "Pattern"
In the pattern drop-down select the selection you made in the other image. And use that pattern to fill the shape or selection.

If that's not what you're talking about, then maybe this script by Cassel is more what you're referring to.

Good Evening..
Thank-you for your reply. I ordered that plug-in last evening. It should be here in a day or so, and I am quite looking forward to experimenting with it.

Is this script http://creationcassel.com/store/index.p ... 2mtUVfNxRE by Cassel still the best solution for this?
