insert 2 images into workspace
X5.I want to show 2 images that are long and not very high into the workspace to create a jpeg of them both together.I will need to keep the aspect ratio and alter the sizes to fill the screen.Help please

If I understand your objective correctly, what I would do is:
- Select first image.
- check its dimension using the info tool.
- go to Image/canvas size and enter dimension that is double the width, same height as the image.
- select second image, go to edit copy
- select first image, edit/paste as new layer.
- select move tool (crossed arrows) and move the second image to where you want it. For fine adjustment use Ctrl and arrow keys to nudge one pixel at a time.
- crop and image/resize to what you want.
- Select first image.
- check its dimension using the info tool.
