DVD Shrink and kernel32-a fatal combination

Post by tonyjer »

Hi everyone

I have been using shrink version 3.2.015 for about a year with very few problems. I always use it with previously created TS folder (created with Video Studio 8)

My current project consists of 5 half hour episodes of my favourite sit comedy and the TS folder size is 8.23 Gb.

I have 640MB of RAM and plenty of hard drive space. I know I am limited by Win ME but the individual mpeg files within the TS folder are < 4GB and consistent with the FAT 32 system used by ME.

My problem is that about 56% of the way thru encoding I get the infamous “DVD shrink has encountered an error with kernel 32.dll etc”

I have looked at the guides but can’t find too many references or fixes for this problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Antonio, Anna y Eduardo Felipe

PS I close down everything as recommended
