Newbie problem - can't import mp4 files

Post by marada »

I have been having problems with Video Studio X7. I try to import mp4 files and it crashes on open. Video Studio X5 has no problem and I had to revert back to it for edits for work. Other files import with no problem. Hopefully there will be an X7 update to resolve this as I see a lot of people having similar problems.

Most of the people, including me, who had that kind of problem could resolve it by updating their graphics video driver.

And at least some of us have no difficulty importing mp4 video, both high and standard def, in X7 with no problems. I use it quite a lot from my GoPro Hero 3 on two different computers, one running Win 7 and the other 8.1...
