So basically you want to redo everything with your new software?
That sounds like you don't have much images....
I still have software on my box that is out of updates since 5 years. But it allows me the tweak old images easily without the need to start from scratch or a TIFF with another software.

The simple fact is that Corel has chosen a course that has 'encouraged/forced' many users to look else where. I, along with many others, need/want new/relevant software that can help us to deliver the best in quality we are capable of. (Despite comments to the contrary I have given ASP a real workout. Good but now not good enough).

I accept that good software takes time to develop. I also accept that users will holler loud if software has 'bugs'. So Corel is 'pushed' to release a new program but at the same time needs to be sure it will work bug free.

My 'gripe' with Corel is their silence. During Corels silence many folks have moved on. Me? Well I found that other software was just as capable as ASP. A fact I would never have realised if Corels silence hadn't made me go looking else where. Had Corel given some updates on their progress I may have been more prepared to wait.

So for me the waiting game is over. Subject to Corels update or pricing policy I will look at v2. If it's 'reasonable' I will give it another go. If not I'll continue down my present path.

Volume isn't an indicator of quality! I only have around 5000 keepers I care about.

I've already redone everything with my new software. see this: http://glenbarrington.blogspot.com/2014 ... e-pro.html.

I own ASP V1 because it was CHEAP, and some photographers I respect were fond of it, and it offered a Linux version at a time when I was considering a move to Linux. But I decided NOT to implement it after testing it out. Primarily because it was already an elderly release, I preferred the output of ACDSee Pro, and to this day, I still don't trust Corel's commitment to the product.

Corel hasn't lost me completely, I still think PSP X6 is an incredibly competent companion editor to ACDSee Pro. But switching editors, if I had to, isn't the stressful and painful option that changing Workflow tools is.
