Need Help Installing Paintshop Pro X6

Hello all. I did a search for this but I found nothing.

Anyway, here is my problem. I had PSP X6 installed and was working fine. I had to uninstall it for reasons not related here. I used the Add-Remove program in my Control Panel to uninstall it.
I then removed any remaining leftover folders in my Program Files. It has been a few weeks now and when I go to re-install it again I am getting error messages.

Does anyone know why I am getting this error, and what I can do to correct it? It will not let me install PSP X6 the way it is.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Uninstalling PaintShop Pro is best done with the Uninstall Tool. It's available here in this forum.

When deleting you have probably deleted something that PSP requires to install. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.

Have you contacted Corel? Because it is a new product you will receive help on installation.

BINGO!!! I used it and it worked. I can now re-install PSP X6!
I must have had some leftover files that it had to get rid of.

This is something that comes up so often. Points to a problem with the programming of the installation and the uninstall section. Corel need to look at this and avoid sloppy programming. Haaaa!!!

YES! I agree 100%!!!
But as long as they make up for it by creating an uninstall program like above, I'm fine with it...
