All my Corel X5 Brushes I installed have disappeared
I am using Corel X5 and all my brushes from the additional content from Corel Guide Learn More have disappeared and I no longer have access to re-install them. What do I do now?

Re: All my Corel X5 Brushes I installed have disappeared
In the last 6 hours I have just had a problem where my X5 running on an XP desktop computer failed to run , some error at loading of swatches. I tried removing latest additions to presets, and picture tubes in case one of those was causing the problems . No luck so did a Shift run progrem to reset to defaults and again no luck. So attempted to uninstall . no luck and kept doing something in circles (same alerts on Zone Alarm for about 3 minutes ) . Rebooted and finally managed to uninstall.
My X5 was a download version had been installed on two of my laptops and was being reinstalled on this Desktop. ( I have also purchased another disk version of X5 to install on a third much older test laptop.
Reinstalled and it had the basic set of brushes (about 15, one screen), and only about 10 picture tubes. re registered and went to account through the Corel Guide (left icon, top right corner in Edit mode) and clicked the Do More link and re downloaded and installed all the rest of the brushes, Picture Tubes , frames, textures etc).
What did surprise me was that I received a thank you for registering your software AND a Welcome to your 30 day support as well as a support code. Good work Corel!!!!

Try looking through the folders here C:\ProgramData\Corel\Downloads for the Brush.exe --shonstain wrote:I am using Corel X5 and all my brushes from the additional content from Corel Guide Learn More have disappeared and I no longer have access to re-install them. What do I do now?
If you don't see the Program Data folder you may have to unhide it via the Control Panel - > Folder Options - > View Tab. Just tick the radio button next to "show hidden, files, folders & drives.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed
