VS X7 Ultimate files will not open

Cannot open any video file. I click and nothing happens. I am uninstalling to reinstall. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

You click what? A video file, the VS X7 icon, or what? A bit more information would help

I uninstalled but, cannot reinstall. See attached error message.

This sounds like a poor uninstall - possibly it crashed or used the wrong method. But - bottom line - there's leftovers that the new install checks for and aborts if found. There's an uninstall tool that gets rid of any leftovers - either Corel support or a forum admin could supply it. Get it, run it, restart and you should be able to do a clean X7 install.

Now you know why an image backup is priceless. I restored a recent image backup and all is fine now. That uninstall tool is something to have. How do I get it?
