Hi Trevor,

Yes, I'm sure I purchased video studio Pro X8 ultimate. This is also confirmed in the X8 I purchased under Help in "About", that this is what I am now using.

In my FX library, under Pro Dad, is listed Adorage, Mercalli 2.0, Roto Pen, Script and Vitascene. But no Boris. I also checked all my FX's in alphabetical order, but no Boris, as promised us. What to do? Regarding my not installing the "Contents package", I recall one of the readers writing in about this, that it reset his X8 library after he had imported into it his older library. So why take a chance when it took 3 1/2 hours for me to import my library. I'll manage to live without its contents.

But, Trevor, I'm happy to say you gave me good advice, following it I just now installed Video Essentials 3 and 5 into my Pro X8 FX library. As for your difficulties, yeah, you may have to reset X8, the way a corel tech advised me earlier, a few emails back. Being not computer literate it all sounds confusing to me. Wish I could help more. Any way, thanks for all your assistance. Best regards, Mike

Hi Mike

The program did have some issues showing Boris and have provider a patch/update

http://www.videostudiopro.com/en/support/updates/

the download file is quite large at 280 mb ish

Again installing the patch may affect your library?

I don't have time at the moment but if I remember I will install the patch to see if it does clear my library.
