New AfterShot (old) web site

Post by afx »

Hi,

looks like Corel is trying to emphasize the brand name, AS now under its own domain:
http://www.aftershotpro.com/
And the Plugins at http://www.aftershotpro.com/en/plugins/

Not earth scattering, but a good sign in my eyes. It no longer hides somewhere in the trenches of the Corel site.

cheers

Curiously, though, the Support tab on that site only links to Tech Support, which we all know is extremely limited. On the main Corel.com site, Support leads to a variety of other possibilities, including links to these forums. I would have thought that sort of link should also appears on the ASP site...

I might also note that separate sites also exist for other Corel programs, such as Video Studio: http://www.videostudiopro.com/en/default.html And like the ASP site, Support only links to Tech Support on that site too.

In fact the domain has existed for long, though it used to point direct to the plugin page.

Yup, it was there in Zombie state.

Let's see what will happen with it in the future.

Lets hope this is a sign for a new beginning.

It seems they have forgotten the British and Irish Markets.
The number for English Speakers is 1-877-582-6735 a US one.
Whilst the Contact number for major European countries is +44 203 3550960 a UK number.

And the German page doesn't show the plugin tab, so potential German customers don't even get an idea of probably the best thing in ASP. I hope that will change with the new version.

Do the plugins listed there all work with the latest version of ASP?

We as users will know the truth there.
But do Corel or their development team.
