Do you really mean Ulead VideoStudio 9 ?

That is a very very old programme - I am surprised it even works on your Windows XP

I do not think anyone will be able to help you.

Time to upgrade to Corel VideoStudio Pro X7 (17) perhaps ?

...the activation key regenerated by system
I would be particularly interested in a more detailed explanation of what you mean by this. How exactly was the activation key "regenerated" and by what "system"? Was VS9 on a disc or was it a download version. And was it originally a Try Before You Buy version?

Most likely the program/server that "activates" the (at least) 9 year old program is no longer available. There are similar posts all over the web from people trying to "activate" dinosaur programs and not only from Corel.
