if they started fixing bugs instead of introducing new ones .... refer <DEL><INS>, if this is still present, I´ll not invest any $
Note: similar behavior can be seen when moving images in the filesystem view from one to anther folder .... sometimes nothing happens, sometimes other images are moved, sometimes the selected ones ... not acceptable since this demonstrates real issues in the SWs internal structure, communication, etc.
do I have to re-adjust all the images or are the settings in the XMPs smoothly converted/applied -- Note: I rarely apply plugins, and for the standard settings like contrast, saturation, blacks, curves, exposure ... I expect some kind of compatibility !
is noise reduction included (did not follow any discussions in the past) ? or are additional licenses required ?
The upgrade price is $54.99 US for the current version of ASP (upgrade from Bibble 5, Lightroom, Apple Aperture, etc...). If there is a version 2 I don't expect it to be that much different based on the prices that I've seen for PSP and Video Studio being usually around the same price point across different versions. That's not to say there won't be the occasional sale price though.
Depends.
Is the 'new' ASP a 'new' ASP or just an upgrade?
I think Corel needs to think long and hard about prices. With programs such as Raw Therapee and Nikons View/ND-X costing $0.00 ASP needs to be worth what they charge. Why should anyone pay for RAW conversion when 'basic' conversion can be done for free and edited in programs such as PSPx6?
IMHO Corel needs to offer a package that includes ASP and PSP at a price that makes the one stop shop worth considering.

A moderately improved version, for Linux and with support of Fuji X-xxx Camera: 199 Euro
- penalty for being forced to use other tools for the last 16 months: -75 Euro
- penalty for very bad (actually non-existing) customer communication: - 100 Euro
--> 24 Euro
