VS X6 Ultimate crashes with HV video clips

Hi Ken and others,
I have been uning VS X6 ultimate for some time now with no problems. Last week I upgraded my motherboard and processor as my old Intel E8400 was starting to struggleing with some of the HD rendering and Boris Graffiti. I have installed a Gigabyte Z87M D3H mother board and an Intel i5-4440 with onboard HD 4600 graphics. Since upgrading I am unable to add any M2T or any other HD video file to my current project as VS crashes immediately and I get an error message that VS has an error and must shut down and please send the created log file to Corel support. I have no issue running or loading standard def video. The same thing happens if I open an old VS project with HD clips and click on or attempt to play any clips. I have managed to get it to work by running the VS program in compatibility mode. I have also tested the VS x6 ultimate on my media centre which has an Intel i5-650 processor and it works seemlessly. Is VS 6 ultimate struggling with new Intel i5 processor chips or onboard graphics or can you suggest any other reason VS is crashing. Any assistance you can offer would be most appreciated. Hi Mark

Can you check that you are using the latest graphics drivers.
Although you have installed I assume from the MB installation disc I would still visit the boards web site to check for updates.

Hi Lata,
Thanks for that. I checked my graphics driver and found it was version 10.18.10.3412. I updated it from the Intel web site to 10.18.10.3496 and the program now runs perfectely. Appreciate you assistance. Regards, Mark
