Upload To Youtube Problem X6

Post by RobCharles1981 »

Hi I'm using Corel Video Studio Pro X6 and for some reason the Youtube Upload Feature has stopped working, My system specs meet the requirements of this program.

The error message is:

"Upload Failed Due to a Connection Error Please Check Your Connection and Try again"

Any help please?

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob

I had some problems with YouTube that turned out to be my problem.
YouTube Have integrated with Google I think, anyway I had a conflict with my log-in details between Google and Youtube, once I sorted that things seem to work ok.

I have to say that although I use the Upload To Web option to render to MP4, I then cancel the upload window.
Play the new file to check quality, then log-on to YouTube from my own links/account.

Video Studio 7 has changed in that you have to log-on to YT before rendering the project, it then continues to upload, not sure I like that as I don’t have the opportunity of viewing the video before I upload.

Hi Rob

You may have misunderstand me, the problem was with my log-in details.
Once I set them correctly I had no problems.

YouTube needs an e-mail address as the user name, in the past they accepted a name, I was slow in updating my details.

Check your YouTube log-in details that they comply with the latest policy.

I had a lot of problems sorting out the in-built upload due to e-mail problems.

Because we use a gmail address for the forum admin I regularly log-in to the g-mail account but I did not have a g-mail account of my own - so whenever I tried to upload from VideoStudio it insisted on trying to find a youtube account with a g-mail address and threw an error. In the end I took out my own g-mail address and transferred my youtube account to that - which seems to work.

but in the meantime I had become so used to how much better it was just to cancel the final stage, view the video and then upload the video direct myself that I do that automatically now.
