Getting Paintshop and FaceFilter to play nicely together

Post by ohdearme »

Hi,
Can anybody help me please? I have just installed PaintShop pro x6 on my shiny new 8.1 machine :D
It came with Face Filter which I had a play with yesterday. I can use FaceFilter and save but if I try to open the result with PaintShop I get "Unable to open the file. Please verify the file is valid."
I looked at properties for the file and it shows as "FFPProject file (ff project)" I am guessing it needs converting to jpeg or similar but in the save option I only have one option "FaceFilter project files (*.ffproject) any suggestions are very welcome.
Regards,
ohdearme

Ah! Sussed it :D
For anyone with the same problem just "saving as" is not enough, you need to go to export then you get a drop down menu for jpeg or TIFF then save to your chosen folder

Best wishes all.

Use the Export button on the far right along the top of the screen.
