Pen Tool Translation

Post by PeterPawn »

I was wondering if someone could translate this photoshop pentool tutorial for use in PSP x6 or point me in a direction to find an existing tutorial on how to make designs using the PSP pentool.

Here's the photoshop tutorial: http://nmsmith.deviantart.com/art/Pen-T ... s-37296606

I've searched what I can but just can't find a pentool tut that addresses this particular function.

Thanks for your help.

I might tackle the specific items mentioned in that tutorial. But for now I do have three tutorials on using the Pen Tool

Pen Tool 1/3 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsFOxoXe70w
Pen Tool 2/3 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UI3bPqhtgN4
Pen Tool 3/3 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zx08_XqxUV4

As for rotating the paths, there are two ways to do that. But the best way to handle it with a script (action) is to duplicate the entire path. Using the Pick Tool to rotate the object.

I'll upload a video about that later.

Thanks Levi. I bookmarked your youtube page, I'll definitely keep that area handy.
I anxiously await your video on making designs with the pentool similar to that photoshop tut. I kinda need that badly.
Thanks again.

It's not that similar to Photoshop. But I did my best, which isn't saying much. XD

WOW!!! I'm liking what I saw here. You've given me what I needed to get started.

I've done a couple of things with the PhotoShop pen tool but the PhotoShop pentool is soooooo weird to use, I don't like it.

Here's a couple of images I've done with PhotoShop...

I just wanted to show where I'm trying to go with the PSP pentool. From what you've shown me I think I might be able to make the designs I want to make.
I just want to say "thanks" for what you've shown me, I really appreciate it.

I'm sure I'll have more questions as time goes on.
If you get a little time, please take a look at some other things I've done so you get a sense of what I'm trying to do with PSP.
