Paint Shop Pro X1 repeated Welcome (nag) screen

NOTE: Happy PSP X1 user. Although I've five versions behind and am aware that the product is no longer supported, I choose not to upgrade for now.

I'm currently using Paint Shop Pro X1, long-time registered of course, but I'm being plagued by the repeated instance of the opening Welcome! screen. The screen shot is attached.

I could swear that the corner drop-down menu used to offer "Do Not Remind Me". But that somehow went away. So as of the past year or so, I'm forced to be reminded at least monthly.

This issue frustrates me, and a Google search returns no results. I've found no means of eliminating this screen.
Anyone who knows anything about this occurrence in X1, please help me out here. I don't want to be forced to upgrade just because of this annoying screen. Thanks in advance!

THat is a request to register which may occur if you have installed the program on a new system. Just complete the registration and it should go away.

I'm having the same issue. I went out to that link, but I couldn't really understand it, and it seemed to be addressing a problem different than the one I have. I don't care about the little ads in the lower corner, I figure that's my payment for such great software at such a low price.

No, I'm talking about the Welcome screen, when PSP acts like I've never even used the software before, even though I've had it installed, and I've registered it, on the same computer, for well over two years. I can't get it to stop.

I don't mind making registry changes (I've done plenty of work with regedit over the years), so please tell me EXACTLY what I need to tweak in my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS so I never see the "Welcome to Paint Shop Pro" message again. Thanks.
