Ive found that when I close VS7 the "vstudio.exe*32" file is still showing as active in Windows Task Manager under "processes".
This results in the program not opening when I click on the icon/click on a VSP file (as its seen by Windows as still running), I have to go into Task Manager and end the process (close the .exe file) then start VS7.
anyone else noticed this?

Yes, it has happened to me a few times, now if VSX7 fails to launch, I open task manager and kill the process, but it does not happen every time.

Very rarely, Although I do not use double click on VSP files to open the program.
I run from the desktop icon then open a project from the file menu, whether that makes a difference I don’t know.
Video Studio lists the latest used project at the bottom of the File Menu list ( well 3 or 4)

I never click on a vsp file to open VS, but nevertheless the continued operation still occurs, and occasionally with PSP too.
