Ulead is just the editing application -- as long as you output to a standard format such as MPEG, WMV, or AVI with a common codec, anyone will be able to view your creation.

But the only way I can save my creation is as a .VSP file, a file that can only be opened with Ulead....

saving a project [.vsp] is so you can reopen the project later or save often to recover after a ''crash'' to make a copy for others to see is done at the 'share'' tab it is recomended to use the procedure at the top of the forum as well you can veiw the tutorial from ulead here http://www.ulead.com/learning/vs8.htm

Mrcoo you have several options. Start by clicking on the tab "share" then "Create video file " after it is rendered. Click on DV recording and record it back to your mini dv camcorder. Now you have a mini dv with your movie.
You can then take your camcorder to your friends home and hook up the camcorder to their tv and play it on your friends tv.

Or playback your finished movie with your camcorder to your VCR and make a VHS tape for your friends.

Or make a DVD for your friends with Ulead software.

The .VSP file isn't the movie. It's just the project file saving all your editing decisions.

Movie files (as already stated) will be .MPEG or .MPG or .AVI and will be in the folder you told the program to store them in when you clicked File > Preferences > General, and File > Preferences > Preview.
