Blank Screen
Video Studio Pro X4. When I try to load videos or photos into video studio, the screen is blank. I've tried various videos and photos to no success. I had no problem earlier today. Help!

Re: Blank Screen
Have you changed any settings recently - tried to connect a second monitor ? - ran any sort of "speed up your PC" programme
Check in "Settings >> Preferences" that the drop down towards the bottom is showing the Instant Playback Target as "Preview Window"
has your X4 always worked on windows 7 - many people have had odd problems with it - maybe a recent windows update has changed the compatibility and X4 doesn't like it.

Re: Blank Screen
The instant playback target is showing "preview window." I have made no recent changes. When I click to open a photo, the green bar shows it is loading, but nothing shows in the preview window. I found I could drop the photo from windows explorer into the timeline and have it on the timeline. By the way, I am talking about the window that shows the various photos and videos you have opened. It is in the upper right hand corner. The same window the FX icons would appear ready to drag into the timeline.

Re: Blank Screen
Hi Bud
Have you turned off the library pages view by mistake
The right hand panel shows the library content, to the top left of that window are 4 icons
The left hand one being the standard “open folder” Import media.
The other three are for hiding / showing the pages, Photo, Video and Audio
Make sure these icons are highlighted, I think yellow?
