Is it possible to import a DVD .iso image into VS 9

Post by D7CEJ01 »

I have tried several ways to import a DVD .iso image file contained on a hard drive into Video Studio 9 without any success. Is this possible without having to burn a DVD first?

I have several programs that can display/play the .iso image file without any problems, so I know the file is ok.

Thank you for any ideas/suggestions.

You could use DVD Shrink, it will open ISO files and output to a VIDEO_TS directory structure. Another program that can do this would be ISO Buster.

UVS itself cannot open ISO files, but the included VCD / DVD Disk Image Recorder utility will burn them.

Thank you for the info THoff. I'll give DVD Shrink a try.

However, it would be nice to eliminate that extra step so maybe I'll turn that in as suggestion to Ulead for the next version.
