What I am trying to do is to have a j-Peg File has my background that will stay in place. And a other j-Peg File that is smaller Come in over the background using a Transition. What I wish to do is have the Transition for the Overlay only.
Right now when I try to do the Transition It does the Transition for the Whole screen, and what I what to do is have the Transition work for the Overlay screen only Displaying the second J-Peg File Over the background J-Peg Or Mpeg4 File.
Thank you for any help with this
I'm New to using Effect in my Video's. Have only created Raw Videos with no Effect Til Now.

Re: Transitions in a Overlay only Version X6 Ulti.
Unfortunately, only some of the X6 transitions have the effect you are after. The rest behave as you have found, covering both the main and the overlay tracks. We raised this with Corel, and in X7 they have included a separate category of Overlay transitions. I am attaching a screen shot of all those 40 transitions that will work only in the overlay track. That should help you identify the same transitions in X6 which should work the same way. They obviously don't include the transition you wanted, but you might find one which is an acceptable substitute.
