Re: Error: 4
I have VS X7 64 bit also on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit computer, with no problems and no such messages.
Unfortunately, we don't have any 'fixer' tool as such (none of us here work for Corel -- we are just volunteer users). All we have is a took which will remove all traces of X7. Then you might be able to reinstall X7 without this error appearing. See http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 90#p285290 for the link to that tool.

Re: Error: 4
That seems like the error thrown when Protexsis Licensing is not able to function. You need to go to the Services panel, scroll down to Protexis Licensing, and make sure that it is running. If not choose Start Service. You probably have more than 1 Protexis Licensing.

Re: Error: 4
Hi.
I've tried many things (this also included.) on this problem. However, I could solve the problem by taking the operation system disk image back. This is a problem commonly encountered for the corel. Because there are many examples on the internet regarding this issue. That's why I make an effort to solve. Because I love solving software problems. But I do not think there is a solution to this problem. As this problem will remain a mystery in itself. Kind regards
