PSP PRO 6 Ultimate fill image with background

Post by WIM »

I have a transparent outline of a image that I would like to fill with a background image so that when done the outline has the background in the shape of the outline. I lost my directions on how to do this. Please help.

One way would be to select the outline (I presume it is a few pixels wide, like a border ,)then Edit > Copy the other image and finish by Edit > Pasting into Selection

See image for what I want to do. I've done it before as you can see but can't remember how.

Ahh easy,
Copy and paste your image as a new layer and drag it below the outline image and you will see the other image underneath through the transparent area. You can also use the move tool to drag the lower image around a bit.
