Crash on Image Resize (C++ Error)

Post by PeggleFrank »

I've been having this issue a lot lately, and I can't seem to fix it.

I got the product from the regular location, and it wasn't pirated. I don't believe I have the ultimate version, but the startup image appears to be the ultimate version, so I'm not entirely sure.

I've never had this issue before with paint shop, or paint shop x4. (The last version I used, before upgrading this PC. I don't have it anymore)

I haven't changed any defaults, including the theme.

I'm outputting into PNG because I'm uploading a color palette for low-res sprites. JPG compresses and corrupts the image to a point where it's impossible to recognize.

I'm getting this as an error.
If I hit "ok," this shows up, but interacting with the program at all causes an instant crash:
However, when I create a new image from scratch, and resize that, it works flawlessly. Copying and pasting another image into the new image will cause the C++ error upon resize.

Help would be appreciated. It's inconvenient to have to load up GIMP just to resize an image.

I couldn't find any helpful information. Restarting IE won't help at all, and the "only" way to fix anything else is to use the paid software listed. (It requires a reboot to uninstall, I might add. I'm doing a scan after this...)

I'll try reinstalling, though.
