Hi,
I am creating an educational video using X6Pro. The video will includes existing mp4/mp3, HD, png and jpgs. Most of the existing vids I will be using were downloaded from youTube. Whenever HD was a download option, I would choose it.
Some of the existing mp4s I will be using, has its own audio. Some of the mp4s audio quality is not that great. For vids that do not have audio I will be narrating. When displaying images, I will be using mp3 background music.
I have a choice to present the final on a HDTV/LCD screen or data projector. The final video file can be burned on a DVD, run from my laptop or uploaded and ran from Cloud space.
Question: Before I begin, what is the best plan to incorporate the various file formats listed above to achieve the best rendering environment and file format?
Thank you,
Sh'maryah

Re: Choosing the best output format.
Hi Sh'maryah
And welcome to the forums
First video downloaded from you tube may not be best quality and playback on a HDTV will exaggerate the poor quality. I would opt for a smaller screen, maybe laptop as that will look better than on a large screen.
Burn a DVD
For a standard DVD you have to use Mpeg2 files, these are the types used to burn a disc.
Share Create Video File – DVD Slide Show is your best option to create these files.
Playback on internet or via PC
For HD TV
Share Create Video file HDV for PC may be the best option,
Share Upload to Web HD 16:9 will create a HD MP4, once rendered simply cancel the YouTube uploader
Share Create Video File Mpeg 4 will give a 1920 x 1080 option
Note that I have suggested Non Interlaced (Progressive) as your video is downloaded from the internet and will not be interlaced.
Using MP3 audio has caused some issues, if you have problems convert the audio to Wav.
You may be best testing the above the options to see which produces the best quality.
Hope this helps a little
