I would like to have the ability to change the duration of multiple images when inserted on the overlay tracks. Meaning you don't want to change the default duration settings for all images. At this stage it can only be done in the main track. I may be wrong but the function was available in an earlier version I think VS X2 if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, it is a correct one. :D

It shows that most users does not use more than one language. But with every deframentation or system backup (on-line or off-line) we hawe to deal with hundreds of files and allmost 0.5 GB of hdd space!

So why don't you delete all you don't need?

I wish that for X8 there is a Professional support team that looks after their customers and not fob them off with mundane or no replies. and fix the screencap program!

Whilst all members would agree that support provided by Corel is atrocious, the members of this forum do a fantastic job of trying to fill the gaps with their expertise and knowledge of the product.
What issues do you have with Screencap, for most of us, it functions correctly and I find that I no longer need Camtasia for screen capture, I did have issues with VSX6 where red crosshairs appeared on every screen capture and even Corel Support could not fix the problem, however with VSX7 I have no issues.

I think it would be great to have better media files management system. For example today I've found a problem with the maximal number of the folders (see http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=55159). Corel should learn from Pinnacle Studio (which it owns, by the way) to create nice virtual folders where user can have shortcuts to all media type files.

1. When you install on a drive other than C:\ keep all files on the other drive or give us more control over where the app, settings, downloads, etc are stored. Currently still installs stuff on 'C:\Program Data\Corel' and 'C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Corel'

2. Screen Capture app that uses less resources and with better audio support.

I'm starting to agree with you. Since I bought the latest (X7) version, I really did not have the opportunity to use it in order to see how it performs. It came to me as a huge shock that while I'm am busy with a large project that its a struggling version. Everything is bad.
1. I cannot import multiple videos into a track without losing them once or twice the program just do not respond for a while and then after waiting it recovers itself without importing the files.
2. Now while I'm busy syncing three video layers, the playback is jumping and skipping in such a way that I cannot match the spot on the timeline to line up the audio. (I have ripple editing enabled)
3. Everything is slow while Corel propagates that VSX7 can now fully benefit from the 64bit platform, I have a new more powerful PC with a SSD hard drive, I can hardly see a difference, in fact its stuttering.
4. Editing is a nightmare compared to the previous versions X2 X4 and X5
5. The share module got a new jacket with funny behaviour on saving - a popup box as if you've pressed "save as" in any normal application instead of overwriting the current file.
6. With X8 coming out perhaps in the next three months I would rather want them to polish these rough areas there is nothing more annoying than struggling with a program. To get support is a painful experience.
7. Version X7 is starting to become more of a disaster than Version X3!

No much use to suggest future version here. because corel engineers wont consider user opinion much... any way I would suggest color correction wheel or color curves instead of useless current color correction. most of fx are useless remove almost un necessary fx and keep few good effect which will useful

I'm not sure what you mean, but you can change the working folder to any other drive. All your proxy files etc will be in the working folder. Regards.
