Dual 32-bit and 64-bit installation of VideoStudio X7
For those who have already installed VideoStudio X7 Ultimate, does it allow you to simultaneously install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions? I was able to install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of PaintShop Pro X6, so I'm wondering if that option even exists with VideoStudio X7. Currently I am using VideoStudio X6 Ultimate, and I am considering upgrading to X7 Ultimate to take advantage of the latest and greatest features. I realize that one of the compelling reasons to upgrade is to take advantage of the 64-bit capabilities of VideoStudio X7. However, since NewBlue and other vendors have not yet provided 64-bit plugins, I am hesitant to completely abandon 32 bit right now.

Re: Dual 32-bit and 64-bit installation of VideoStudio X7
Unfortunately, it only allows one installation. I have opted for 64 bit, although I have NewBlue Essentials packs 1 to 6, which don't work. When you have either the 64 bit or 32 bit version installed and try to install the other, it first uninstalls the original version. I suspect this is because of Dolby (and perhaps other) licensing. If you installed both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions on the same machine, Corel would have to pay two licensing fees to Dolby...
At the moment, I am faced with either using the more limited, but still very useful, NB filters included with X7 (which appear to work in 64 bit) or else, if there is some NB filter which I need to use which is not included in X7, I am having to revert to X6, apply that filter to a clip or clips, then render it, and open the rendered file in X7 for inclusion in the project. Not a particularly useful workflow, but thankfully, so far, I have only had to resort to it twice (both related to the NB chroma-related filters).
But the fact that there are some NB filters which work in X7 64 bit, including one whole Essentials pack, and others from various other Essentials packs, makes me wonder why they don't have the whole packs already working for 64 bit X7. Certainly all my 6 Essentials packs install happily in both Cyberlink PowerDirector and Sony Movie Studio Platinum, both 64 bit versions, and happily work in those programs.
