Question about frames
Using PSPXI. When i add the Edge smudge frame the frame is white. How do I specify for the frame to be black?

The picture frame is added to the image as a layer. (F8 for Layers palette). Maybe try the colour changer tool? It shares a button with the flood fill tool in X4.
Set foreground colour or background colour to the one you want.
Open the tool option palette (F4) and set options there. A quick test using tolerance and edge softness of zero looked okay to me. Click in the frame on the frame layer to change the colour.

Thank you so much! The color changer tool did it!
