when you have rendered your video you simply open Windows Explorer/My computer and copy the video from the folder you put it in to the USB stick.

What do you mean by "rendered" movie? Do you mean just the video file or do you mean the complete authoured movie including menu, etc?
What do you want to do with the video on the memory stick?

Thank you for your speedy replies. I am very grateful.
Under 'Share' there are 8 options for saving a movie. I don't want to save each scene on a separate DVD disc but want to combine all the scenes onto either a single memory stick or external drive, to make a final movie. Hopefully the finished project will be in the range of 50 minutes long. Some scenes are only seconds long so you can imagine how many DVD's I would need.

If your show is only 50 minutes long you would only need one DVD to get it all on.
It sounds a little bit as though you have jumped in at the deep end and don't know how to swim.
Put all your videos into the timeline in the order you want to view them - this is now called a project.
now edit your project - cut out any little bits of video you don't like - maybe add some transitions between clips and possible some titles and a music track.
When you are happy with what you have created go to "Share >> Create Video File" - which option you choose to make depends on what you want to do with the video file - if you want to just view your videos on a computer I would suggest you choose mp4.
VideoStudio will then give you the option to name your video and say where you want to save it on your HDD - this is when your video is "rendered" - that is turned into just one intact video.
Once it has finished you can now go to the folder you saved the video in and play it through or - copy it to your USB stick and play it on another computer

Re: video studio - save to memory stick
Just a little additional to Brian's recommendation, You can select your memory stick as the location to save your rendered video file from the share tab. Just click on the folder icon (browse) to your memory stick. However I would also recommend rendering it to your HDD then copying the rendered file to your memory stick. Sometimes the render may not come out as you wanted it to, so previewing it first would be good. If you need to change something, you can go back into your project, make the changes and render another file.
