Help !!! I am a newb still to this day... running PSP X4 following Corel tutorial http://www.corel.com/static/product_con ... nPSPX4.pdf
I followed the tutorial exactly except for : create new image as 1600 pixel grid 4x4 400 X 400 pixels
when I attempt to export the picture tube I get a pop up: To save the image as a picture tube the image must be 24 bit and have only one raster layer with a transparency.
What I have tried:
copying image as a new layer
pasting as a new image
adding raster layer
merge all
flatten
nothing has worked... I have a 4X4 grid with 14 images and 2 blank total of 16
I still can not get the tubes to transfer...

Re: Error Message: To save the image as a picture tube
Instead of merge all use merge visible, this will maintain transparency.
What images are you using. Are you starting with isolated gif images or Tif images. They must be converted to 16 million colours (same as for jpg images) .
You may find the Objects > Allign and Objects > Distribute evenly useful in arranging your images on your 1600 x 1600 pixel transparent raster layer.
Which steps number are you having trouble with.
Keeping it simple can you make a tube with just one image on in say a 400 x400 pixel transparent background. Try and work out with a simple example before spending the time on preparing and arranging 14 images.
