How to get good skin tones

I have a Sony NEX camera and the OOC JPEG gives me warmer skin tones but left most other color normal. But RAW files processed with ASP generally has less pleasant skin tones. What is the trick to get better skin tones with ASP?

Try using the "equalizer" plugin to change vibration/saturation just for orange/yellow/red.
