Err 104 Unable to allocate memory...

Post by tommiesh »

Hello,

I have a problem with the program Motion Studio. One of our employees uses this program to capture videos.

We use Windows Server 2003 with 8Gb System-Memory.
When we set the frames above 2000 than we got the error like in the attached screenshot. But the memory should normal handle it like you see on the screenshot its only a usage of about 4GB.
So why do we get this error message?

thanks thomas

I have move this topic into the VideoStudio forum as I presume you mean Motion Studio the video programme rather than Motion Studio 3D which is a 3D design programme.

the only time we used to come up against the 4Gb file size limit was in the days when operating systems were formatted to Fat32 - I assume all of your system including the 2003 server are now formatted to NTFS
