Can I Change Date (Time Zone) On Already Recorded Videos?

Post by oka »

I have a Sony HDR-CX12 Handycam. I have already taken lots of videos howvever, the date zone is the wrong one. Is there a utility one can use to change the date on already recorded videos in the memory stick?

do you mean you had the function on which actually embeds the date on the video as you record so that it is visible onscreen when replaying the video.

In that case no - there is no way to change it - it is part of the video forever and ever.

If it is important to your video to show the correct date the best you can do is put a title with the correct date over it.
