I just downloaded & installed VS 7x Ultimate (actually Friday). Download & Install went well. When I started the program I noticed that most of the "Transitions" we're not there. So I re-installed....no luck. I checked the folder where they are located, and all the files were there. I tried everything I knew but no success.
I have that 30 day install tech support so,I wrote to them. This is the answer I got:
Thank you for contacting Corel Customer Support.
Could you please try this workaropund in troubleshooting the issue.
1. On the library panel, click on the "Transitions".
2. On the galeery drop down list, select "All"
If still there are few transitions on the library, can you please provide me the screen shot of your library screen.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further questions.
I find that answer a little insulting considering I have been using Video Studio for 15 Years.
I responded 15 hours ago...still no response from tech support.
Are there any users that are having this problem.

Re: Video Studio x7
Sometimes works - try this
shut down VideoStudio delete the 17.0 folder here - C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\17.0 - may be empty but still delete it.
Re-start VideoStudio - check transitions.

Re: Video Studio x7
You may also find this insulting, but when you clicked on the Transition button to the right of the preview screen, was "All" showing in the drop-down menu above the transitions which did appear; or was 3D showing as default? I really don't want this to sound insulting, but we need to eliminate it from our enquiries, as our friendly police might say!!

Re: Video Studio x7
Thanks for the post.
It is possible that 3D wa showig when I first started the program....I honestly did not notice.
but when I clicked on "All" only a few of the transitions show. By the way the "insulting" part was that there was an assumption that i had not already clicked on "All" before i sent the tech e-mail.
Further, when i re-installed, there was a few "more" then before (maybe 1 or 2) and the New Blue shows.
Any ideas?
I installed the 32 bit program on my other computer (32 bit computer) and all is well !!!

Re: Video Studio x7
Now that i thought about it.......the "3D" transitions were showing on start-up. I can't tell you if all of them were showing...because I do not know how many there were suppose to be. I hope this gives someone an idea of what the problem is.
